What you will be doing

  • Design & Implement the Data Analytics Strategy

    • Develop a comprehensive strategy regarding all things data-related. This includes advanced analytics, reports, data integration, program SOP and system design, as well as a plan to achieve all data-related goals for all program stakeholders. The Data Analytics Strategy consists of the following:

      • Stakeholder Analysis

      • Information Needs Assessment

      • Data Analytics Strategy Roadmap

      • Annual Data Analytics Summit

  • Data Consulting

    • Engage directly with the client's designated stakeholders to understand business needs around data feeds, large-scale reporting initiatives, data platforms, and analytics, and will then work with the Data Analyst to represent the client's business needs internally at Lash Group for data feeds and data analytics platforms. Data Consulting includes:

      • Training, with the Analytics Consultant sharing data analytics best practices across all programs with key stakeholders, both for the client and Lash Group, such as how to interpret/understand data, how to best integrate data with a particular 3rd party, etc.

      • Analytics Consulting, providing consultative guidance and recommendations to the client, as needed, on how to interpret/understand data

      • Program Design Consulting

      • System Design Consulting

      • Cross-ABC Data Expertise

      • Leverage deep knowledge of data integration best practices to provide guidance and recommendations on best practices around integration of internal and external data sources to ensure our clients benefit from rich, robust, data environments to help support advanced analytics & reporting goals for the program

  • Ad Hoc Data Consulting

    • Act as the Point of Contact for all of the client's ad hoc data consulting requests

  • Ad Hoc Reporting

    • Act as the Point of Contact for all of the client's ad hoc reporting and analytics requests

    • Deliver output in a timely manner, in accordance with contractual SLA's as stated in the MSA

    • Share insights gleaned from ad hoc requests with all appropriate stakeholders

    • Responsible for ensuring finalized ad hoc outputs meet the needs of our clients from both depth of data and insights, as well as leveraging data visualization best practices to ensure finalized outputs are tailored to effectively support the goals of the final target audience

    • Recommends additional analysis opportunities to help add additional value to an ad hoc request (Ex. additional segmentation analyses) or proactively recommends ad hoc reporting and analysis opportunities to help client meet their strategic program goals

  • Act as the data expert, leading the way in data discovery, both proactively and by request, to identify key insights and trends to help drive strategic recommendations

  • Provide consulting support on all data-related solutions (program design, report design, data feed design, data aggregation, etc.)

  • Act as the voice of the client internally at Lash Group to ensure data solutions are provided with high-quality to meet the client's needs

  • Play a leading role in determining deep-dive analyses to complete and insights to share during Data Summits and Business Reviews

  • Place a heavy emphasis on the customer experience with each interaction and deliverable

  • Play an active role in business reviews, especially during analysis findings sections and strategic planning discussions

  • Apply an in-depth knowledge of AmerisourceBergen's various business units (including ION, ASD, and IntrinsiQ) to both provide recommendations on how to leverage data across AmerisourceBergen to optimize the performance of HUB services and to increase product uptake

  • Play a lead role, acting as the voice of the client, in designing data feeds with third-party data sources and creating actionable deliverables, providing business recommendations based on insights extracted from the analysis

  • Deliver ad hoc reporting and analytics within an agreed-upon SLA

  • Provide recommendations on report design, especially around data visualization best practices, and creation

What your background should look like

  • Ability to create new or leverage existing analysis models and apply them to aligned program using business knowledge.

  • Requires experience in querying and structuring relational databases using SQL, with at least 7 years of experience.

  • Completion of a four year Bachelors' degree program, preferably with an emphasis in mathematics, statistics, or data and analytics.

  • Requires expertise in business intelligence platforms such as Qlik, Tableau or like platforms, with at least 7 years of experience.

  • Requires extensive training and knowledge of data visualization best practices.

  • Must have high-level knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point.

  • Customer focused.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and partnership skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate within cross-functional/organizational teams.

  • Ability to work independently, self-directed and solutions oriented.

  • Strong time management skills and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to prioritize, organize and plan work.

  • Effective problem-solving ability

  • Ability to integrate and analyze multiple sources of data

  • Ability to effectively analyze and interpret business level data.

  • He or she should possess the sound organizational and planning skills with a solid an attention to detail.
