Job Description
Description The Clinical Manager will be responsible for overall delivery of physical and occupational therapy services, the coordination, monitoring and development of Physical and Occupational Therapy Staff as well as oversight of key department functions including research, education, equipment evaluation, care guidelines, quality improvement and clinical practice of PT and OT staff. Maintain oversight of department finances, supply chain, productivity measurement, quality and regulatory compliance. This position works closely with the Division and Center leadership team to provide expertise in all areas of rehabilitation services. Additionally, the incumbent will participate in the planning and implementation of department initiatives and goals, lead councils and provide oversight of financial and patient outcomes.
Qualifications

Minimum Education
Master's - MS, PT - MTP, DPT or MOT, MSOT, OTD Required

Minimum Work Experience
5 years .- in an acute care setting with 3 of those 5 years in pediatrics. Required

3 years - supervisory/management experience- Preferred

Licensure Required

Physical Therapy - DC License Required - Upon Hire OR

Occupational Therapy - DC License Required - Upon Hire

Functional Accountabilities
Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to the strategic plan for department services, include short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback and evaluate service/department effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with upper management to incorporate findings into plans of modifying program/ service delivery.

Program and Service Management

  • Implement strategic plan through management of day-to-day operations of department, division or service area.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and develops action plans to resolve.
  • Collaborate with upper management on significant operational issues/barriers.
  • Ensure compliance with CNMC policies and procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist upper management in the development, implementation and evaluation of services, programs, policies and procedures, and performance standards to achieve departmental goals.
  • Responsible for administering programs and services within budgetary guidelines.
  • Collaborate with upper management to evaluate current as well as new program initiatives for effectiveness, feasibility and cost.

Human Resources Management

  • Hire, train, develop and direct assigned staff to meet operational objectives.
  • Provide timely coaching and performance feedback.
  • Develop staffing plan/schedule and deploy staff appropriately to optimize productivity and ensure quality services.

Information Resources Management

  • Proficient in the use of administrative and clinical information resources and decision-support tools.
  • Proficient in compiling and analyzing data to support upper management decision-making.
