We invite experienced Behavioral Health physicians to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together in our Levine Cancer team at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC

Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient clinic within premier cancer research and treatment institute
  • Full-time weekday work schedule, 1 in 8 weekends- Virtual CL call coverage
  • Joining thriving psycho-oncology section comprised of 20+ LCSWs, 4 Psychologists, 2 Psychotherapists, and RN/CMA support along with substantial support programs.
  • Psycho-Oncology administratively structured within Department of Supportive Oncology that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration with Palliative Medicine, Integrative Oncology, Neuropsychology, Cancer Rehabilitation, Long Term Survivorship and Cancer Nutrition.
  • Established integrated services with oncologic teams and steady referral streams.
  • Academic (Heme Onc/Palliative Medicine Fellows, Psychiatry residents, and medical student rotations) and research time could be allocated.
  • Provide psychiatric consultation and treatment of oncology patients.

Ideal Candidate:

  • CL fellowship preferred
  • Psycho-oncology experience preferred
  • Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a collegial care team
  • Comfortable with onsite and virtual environments
