We are seeking a Full time Family Medicine Physician with leadership experience for the Director of Maternal and Child Health in Charlotte, NC!

The Carolinas Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program isa 12/12/12 residency program in Charlotte, NC that includes 3 tracks for residents - Urban Underserved / Biddle Point, Traditional / Elizabeth, and Community Apprenticeship / Union. Our faculty consists of 16 Family Physicians, 3 Geriatricians, 2 PharmDs, 3 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 PhD faculty, 1 PhD Psychologist, and a robust research team.


Position Highlights:

  • 1.0 FTE (.6 Clinical / .4 Administration)
  • Provide Maternity Care to patients
  • Responsible for Maternity Care Curriculum for FM residents
  • Oversight of clinical OB practice at Elizabeth Family and Biddle Point
  • Scholarly work required as part of core faculty
  • Precepting/supervising residents in the office 1-2 half-days per week
  • Direct patient care in the office 2-3 half-days per week
  • Member of the Clinical Competency Committee
  • Oversight of major curriculum
  • Medical student teaching
  • Home night call required - 1-2 times/month

  • Leadership experienced, preferred
