Position Summary:

The Cath Lab Supervisor is responsible for providing quality care in the mobile and fixed cardiac cath labs and a positive
interpersonal experience for the patient. The Cath Lab Supervisor will assist cardiologists in all aspects of invasive cardiology,
including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring and recording hemodynamic parameters in accordance to policy and procedure. The Cath
Lab Supervisor will also supervise the staff working in the mobile or fixed cath lab. Employee shall also be responsible for the
operation and reporting of results using blood glucose and oxygen saturation devices in accordance with policy and procedure.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program, radiology technology program, or certification as Registered Cardiovascular
Technologist required.

Certifications/License
Registered Nurse, Registered Radiology Technologist, Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with current state licensure or RCT. Must have passed the Invasive Registry examination by Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI). Current BLS certification required. State ACLS certification required within ninety (90) days of employment.

Minimum Work Experience
Minimum 3 years cath lab experience required, with previous management experience preferred.

Required Skills
Ability to manipulate various types of electronic and clinical equipment, adjust and troubleshoot monitoring equipment, IV infusions, and computer equipment. Ability to operate specialty equipment related to area of expertise and to perform computer tasks at a users level.
