Overview

Join our growing healthcare team as a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician at our Union location in Monroe, NC. This facitlity is part of Atrium's Greater Charlotte Market, about 45-minutes from Uptown Charlotte, NC. Specific fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care is required.

We provide:

  • Small practice with excellent referral base. Availability to refer to tertiary center within 30 miles.
  • Great mix of pulmonary pathology.
  • Collegial group environment, where academic practice is feasible and supported.
  • Multiple Atrium health-affiliated internal medicine and family medicine practices which utilize our consultative services. Critical care service is consultative only.

Our Practice:

  • Practice environment with established group of 5 Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians.
  • Outpatient M-F 8a-4p; Inpatient 12/7. Nocturnal coverage is by virtual critical care service.
  • Outpatient - Adults 75%/ Inpatient- Adults 25%.
  • The Union location has 200 beds, open ICU.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Critical Care.
  • Experience or fellowship training in pulmonary/critical care is required.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of North Carolina.
