BASIC PURPOSE

The Branch Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the day-to-day operations for the assigned Home Care branch in the southwest Chicago area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • 1. Implement processes and procedure within branch in line with directive from senior management regarding internal staffing procedures, schedules and in-office coverage for all departments at all times.
    2. Keep senior leadership abreast of all internal department challenges include staffing, recruitment, employee relations issue, etc.
    3. Collaborate with leaders across the organization and internal departments to ensure effective processes for long term planning and improvement initiatives.
    4. Ensure direct reports are informed and following guidelines and directions from senior leaders.
    5. Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a team of recruiters, coordinators, and administrative staff.
    6. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to achieve individual and team goals.
    7. Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
    8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including hospitals, nursing homes, and individual clients, to understand their staffing needs.
    9. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    10. Collaborate with clients to develop staffing solutions that meet their specific requirements.
    11. Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of caregivers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
    12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the recruitment and placement of staff.
    13. Review HCP timecards for accuracy and partner with payroll to address any issues promptly in order to meet necessary payroll deadlines.
    14. Monitor staffing levels and deploy resources effectively to meet client demand.
    15. Identify opportunities for business growth within the local market and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them.
    16. Network with healthcare organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote our services and expand our client base.
    17. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to adjust our strategy accordingly.
    18. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including licensure requirements, labor laws, and healthcare requirements.
    19. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of care and client satisfaction.
    20. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
    21. Maintain daily on-site work presence at assigned branch location during regular work schedule, unless other arrangements have been made.
    22. May require travel to client location or a hybrid on-site work schedule at the client location or other CC WSG branch locations as needed.
    23. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years related experience in recruitment and/or account management, preferably in healthcare staffing industry.
    * 3+ years previous experience in a leadership role, preferably within the homecare staffing industry or a similar healthcare setting.
    * Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
    * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    * Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    * Sound understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
    * Proven track record of achieving business objectives and driving growth.
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
    * Bilingual a plus

    Education:
    * High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
    * or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Company equipment(laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse headset) will be provided directly to you for use during employment.
