HDR is seeking a Federal Resources Power Program Leader to join our HDR Power team and assist both our Federal Resources and Power Market Sector teams to grow our Power Generation/Power Delivery book of business around the Federal Energy Resilience Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP) program. The Federal Resources Power Program Leader will be a self-motivated seller/doer who will support business development and project delivery excellence. This role requires significant Federal client interaction. Strong communication and leadership skills are needed to both support pursuits and help build our power team's experience with Federal project management and execution.

In this role we'll count on you to:

  • Lead and be responsible for Federal power generation/power delivery strategic program growth under the direction of the Federal Resources and Power Market Sector Directors.
  • Establish and develop client relationships, and be involved with marketing, proposal development, contract development and adherence, engineering design and production meetings,
  • Manage Federal client activities to ensure client satisfaction, promote branding of HDR to the DoD services and serve as the face of HDR to ERCIP contract and project manager.
  • Work with HDR Power and Federal Resources counterparts to develop strategies for: teaming relationships, key hires, project pursuits, team growth, area growth and profitability, employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Act as a pursuit manager for large Federal Power contracts and task orders under HDR's ERCIP contracts.
  • Support and manage teaming partner relationships in support of the ERCIP program
  • Act as a project manager for large projects and programs for a variety of Federal clients. This may include both traditional delivery and integrated project delivery-type projects.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 10 years related experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak preferred), project management software (Prolog preferred)
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to manage or support proposal preparation, contract review and negotiation, client relationship and win strategy for medium to large Projects
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Federal project or program management experience
  • Background in power generation or power delivery with an emphasis on microgrids, BESS, and renewable energy
  • Knowledge of and experience executing ERCIP projects
  • Professional registration (PE is preferred)
  • Integrated Delivery Project Experience (i.e. EPC, EPCM, DB, CMAR, etc.)
