The Job/What You'll Do:

In this role you will be accountable for leading the product definition, planning, testing and deployment for integration and partnerships efforts related to Adhesion's Managed Account Platform. This includes other technology platforms, vendors, partners, custodians, asset managers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Product Management

  • Strategic Planning and longer-term trend forecasting
  • Roadmap preparation and validation
  • Research market trends and develop knowledge of pertinent issues, work with and gather feedback from current partners and prospective partners
  • Interact with various areas of the organization to communicate, explain, and advocate product plans
  • Develop expert level knowledge of platform functionality and use cases surrounding partnerships and needs for integrations
  • Evaluate vendors and explore third party relationships
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in sales conversations, conferences, seminars, and other public events to advance the Adhesion message.

Business Analysis (30%)

  • Develop and propagate the User Experience (UX) design standards for the application and partnership expectations
  • Collect, organize and prioritize client and prospect enhancement requests
  • Convert requirements into product development specifications
  • Work with Development, explain requirements then validate prototype output within Rapid Application Design framework
  • Manage the library of product documentation

Project Management (20%)

  • Oversee resource allocation for current development projects
  • Maintain longer term project plan; outline course corrections as needed

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Familiarity with User Experience (UX) design standards and User Workflow best practices
  • Experience with SQL Database design, table structures and basic queries
  • Experience with Agile systems development methodology
  • Experience with Visual Studio Team Server a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) market a plus, but not required
  • Experience with web-based investment advisory products (including performance measurement, analytics, accounting, modeling and trading) a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen attention to detail
  • A desire to gain deep understanding in the area of investment management practices including portfolio management, accounting, performance measurement, modeling and trading
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with an array of individuals and personalities, including clients, prospects, management, vendors, internal constituents
  • A polished, refined communication style that appears at ease in front of a high-profile audience

Education & Experience:

  • 4 to 7 years' experience in investment management, investment advisory or brokerage services industry ideally in a business analyst, product manager, product support or project management capacity
  • Bachelor's degree required
