Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of Commercial Analytics is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and reporting out data; and working with the commercial leadership team to translate that data into actionable insights. He/She serves as the centralized commercial data "source of truth," and a trusted advisor to the Chief Commercial Officer and commercial stakeholders.
MAJOR / KEY JOB DUTIES
* Lead centralized reporting across commercial organization. Identify reporting needs of major stakeholders and deliver at a regular cadence. Distribute weekly executive dashboard to track revenue performance and its components.
* Conduct detailed central proprietary channel analytics. Support Group VP of Marketing and eCommerce with web site analytics to include source of traffic tracking, competitive web site assessments, and conversion funnel analysis. Support call center leader with call center performance tracking.
* Proactively analyze revenue and channel performance and provide recommended actions to adapt to trends.
* Optimize advertising spend. Conduct media mix modeling (with support from external vendor) and leverage other attribution models.
* Obtain guest insights.
* Conduct tests of various promotions and messaging.
* Conduct ad hoc analysis in support of major strategic questions and present findings and recommendations.
* Liaise with IT business intelligence function. Serve as primary business stakeholder for IT data governance. Identify and prioritize reporting needs with IT contingencies.
* Conduct twice annual environmental analysis and present relevant trends in consumer behavior, competitive benchmarking, industry forecasts, etc.
* Develop quarterly Board presentations and content for ad hoc Board requests.

* Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with especially strong skills in Excel.
* Ability to both manage external vendors.
* Ability to influence others over whom you have no formal authority.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Less than 10% overnight travel expected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Education -- Undergraduate degree required.
* Experience -- Minimum 5-8 years analytics experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* MBA
* Hospitality or other multi-unit consumer retail business
