JOB SUMMARY

The Account Director provides account leadership and support on assigned projects while supporting the VP, Managing Director within our Medical Device and Technology group. This role is responsible for proposal development, contributing to pitch development and presentations, and managing projects as they move through the Addison Whitney process. This role requires confident leadership both internally and externally to drive projects to completion. Additionally, the Account Director may have the opportunity to participate in business development activities within assigned accounts, such as: building relationships, leading pitch development and presentation and closing new business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Scope specific projects, develop proposals, and create budget estimates for new project opportunities both independently and in support of the VP, Managing Director
  • Create and maintain project timelines, schedules and budgets
  • Plan, monitor, appraise, and review project progress and team contributions
  • Clearly communicate project status, deadlines, deliverables, etc. to internal and external team members
  • Review all deliverables for strategic, creative and grammatical accuracy prior to client delivery
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Syneos Health agencies
  • Utilize the Wrike project management system
  • Proactively approach opportunities, project challenges and other situations with curiosity and genuine interest in creative solutions
  • Contribute positively to team-oriented culture centered around respect and accountability

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant work experience required
  • Experience in the medical device/technology space is strongly preferred
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spiritto be a self-starter and problem-solve
  • Possesses strong knowledge and experience for processes on creative/strategy deliverables
  • Ability to work within a team or independently
  • Adherence to EST working hours with a strong team mentality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Performs well in a fast-paced environment with ever-shifting priorities
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, effectively executing multiple project streams in parallel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well both within a team and independently

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $79,800 to $100,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
