The Product Manager should operate as a strategic thinker, capable of owning and driving key initiatives for the Global Product organization and their key stakeholders. The role holder will be responsible for executing against the vision and priorities in a collaborative approach working across business, technology, risk, operations and other functions to ensure that product vision, strategy, performance and priorities, roadmaps, capacity/consumption and impacts are clear and understood.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

  • Product Managers are responsible for the definition, prioritization, and management of the product backlog and roadmap.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to define the strategic direction, vision and roadmap for our product suite.
  • Collect, organize, and evaluate feedback from stakeholders.
  • Define requirements, user stories and features, and work with the development teams to estimate and schedule the work.
  • Employing a variety of techniques to assess stakeholder needs and feedback to help direct roadmaps.
  • Work with development teams regarding feature prioritization, and/or use case and product requirements, escalating and tracking defect issues through to resolution, regular communication with internal stakeholders of gaps that exist between the existing product and stakeholder expectations.
  • Product Managers will need to understand business requirements, determine value, translate those into user stories, work with the development teams to translate requirements/stories into actionable development tasks.
  • Prioritize requested work and provide transparency around execution roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with product design, product ops, engineering teams and other stakeholders, conduct workshops and discovery to create the bridge between market needs and feature delivery.
  • Lead execution by an engineering team(s) and work with development teams on feature prioritization, use case and product requirements, and driving and tracking both defect and enhancement development.
  • Accountable to make and deliver against commitments made to business stakeholders.
  • This position requires daily attention to processes in place, deadlines and quality standards are met, risks identified and mitigated, and professional communications are maintained on a regular schedule to stakeholders.
  • The Product Manager bears responsibility to ensure a positive stakeholder engagement experience by delivering a desirable product while taking a vocal leadership role in the product build process.
  • Facilitate communication amongst project leaders, peers and relevant cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment and awareness of product performance and vision
  • Identify and take ownership of problems in targeted segments through constant engagement with our stakeholders
  • Work with the Product team to understand end-users product requirements and desired features, work with internal teams to communicate product requirements, and monitor tasks
  • Take the initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
  • Identify new product enhancements, synergies, etc to drive value for the organization.

What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?
  • Minimum 1-3 years product management experience.
  • Experience working on technology products as either a product manager, product owner, or business analyst
  • Experience managing product performance, driving and supporting other functions to maximize product performance while measuring appropriate metrics and championing success stories.
  • Proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment.
  • Product management experience with data management and/ or API documentation tools
  • Take the initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
  • The mindset of a creative problem solver and critical thinker who is able to articulate the problems that we need to be passionate about solving.
  • A strong focus on collaboration, placing high importance on developing the trust of supporting functions and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior payments or technology industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
