Position Description

We're looking for a full-time, staff Project Controls Manager to join our Day & Zimmermann team.

This position has supervisory/lead or manager responsibility over a group of project controls personnel or functions as a technical specialist who develops advanced concepts. Individuals with supervisory/lead or manager responsibility provide technical direction over a group and may be responsible for employee performance appraisals.

As the Project Controls Manager, here's the work you'll do:
  • Provide support and guidance for site Project Controls personnel & assist with troubleshooting field project controls issues
  • Support project proposals
  • Participate and conduct internal/external monthly project reviews
  • Initiate/develop project control baselines(estimate/schedule/cost) and provide training on project control tools for new hires
  • Coordinate placement of field personnel
  • Develop and maintain site specific project controls procedures as required
This role is for you if you have these skills:
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and exceptional management and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and must possess the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Knowledge of general project controls functions and the ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor progress
  • Good computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
  • SAP R/3, Win Estimator, and Primavera P6 knowledge is a plus

And if you have these qualifications:

* Some college or post secondary education preferred

* Six plus years experience in related project controls assignments

* Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education

* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $124,080 - $186,120. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
