The Job/What You'll Do:

Adhesion is seeking a highly skilled SQL Data Transformation Developer to join our Systems Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data transformation, and ETL processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and data transformation pipelines to support our business intelligence and application needs.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our office location in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient SQL solutions.
  • Implement and maintain data pipelines for data integration from various sources into our data warehouse.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SQL processes, data models, and data flow diagrams.
  • Perform data quality checks and ensure data consistency and accuracy in the data warehouse.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SQL-related issues in the data transformation process.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure database performance, security, and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SQL development and data transformation.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Expert at Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Refactoring and increasing performance of existing ETL workflows
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask as well as being able to collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and positive attitude
  • Experience with Microsoft Server Stack
  • Experience working with SQL Server in Azure and On Prem
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Database Administration and Performance Tuning
  • Nice to Have: Experience with High Availability SQL Server Configurations
  • Nice to Have: Experience with Azure Data Factory and Power BI
  • Ability to react to dynamic situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in field, Preferred
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Preferred
