POSITION TITLE:  Parts Specialist 

LOCATION: Charlotte, North Carolina  

REPORTS TO:    Warehouse Manager

You are the ideal Parts Specialist that will handle all activities related to shipping spare parts and maintaining inventory 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Replies to inquiries with Planmeca internal departments. Common inquiries are product availability, part numbers, and package dimensions
  • Unloads shipments: containers, Air Freight, FedEx, and UPS
  • Maintains and organizes inventory stock
  • Utilizes First in First Out (FIFO) inventory business practices
  • Picks, packs, and fulfills orders
  • Enters data and order entries if needed
  • Participates in cycle count of inventory to ensure inventory is correct
  • Transports equipment to other areas of the warehouse
  • Meets company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments
  • Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet targets, goals, timelines, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented

WORKING CONDITION:
The work environment of the position is in a professional office environment and warehouse environment at principal place of business.
