The Position

The Director, MARTECH (Marketing Technology) Performance will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of marketing technology tools and platforms. This role will bridge the gap between marketing strategies and the technical aspects of marketing operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive and progressive data and technology strategy for integrated e-commerce and customer marketing experiences.
  • Collaborative Integration: Work across departments to ensure a seamless user journey, enhancing lifecycle management and integrating tools to meet team objectives.
  • Partner with various teams to establish and maintain robust, secure, and scalable technology operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with inter-departmental divisions (marketing, demand gen, sales, IT, etc.) and external agency partners, coordinating priorities and requests needed to provide both reactive and proactive support and consistently focusing on performance improvements of our marketing technologies.
  • Be the point person for cross organizational communication & GTM communications for the product suite.
  • Assess, prioritize, and present new web and marketing technology requests received from business units to leadership for alignment, and then to agencies for execution.
  • Communicate priorities, timelines, and deadlines, demonstrate responsiveness, and provide expert guidance on industry best practices and expected performance improvements.
  • Lead discussions with IT and development partners on connecting data and designing Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journeys, including providing account intelligence, generating actionable data for ROI analysis, and spearheading optimizations needed for peak marketing automation performance, including opportunities to increase our customers' lifetime value (LTV) via upsell and loyalty efforts.
  • Execute monthly reporting to ensure continuous improvement of web and marketing technology programs.
  • Taking on project management leadership, and, where necessary, people leadership, to oversee marketing campaigns that yield measurable business success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 8+ years' experience leveraging technology to drive marketing strategies and enhance customer experiences.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing automation technologies, including using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of website strategy and concepts, website analytics tools, and Google Analytics.
  • Solid analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
