Be an integral part of the Geopier, a division of CMC, Team! The Regional Sales Engineer is responsible for the generation of sales revenues, project lead generation, technical design, and construction support. Promote sales and provide technical support to customers in the industrial, commercial, and DOT markets. Joining our Team means you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of geogrid technology and collaborative expertise.

What You'll Do
  • Develop cost effective geotechnical solutions using proprietary technologies including Rammed Aggregate Pier systems for project teams
  • Coordinate interaction between GFC Design Center, Licensed Installer and Client to maximum efficient, accuracy, and effectiveness of GFC services and systems.
  • Responsible for generating sales leads, managing and tracking key projects and communicating project status via monthly reports
  • Implement engineering/bid strategies to close business and achieve proposals and solutions to meet regional revenue goals
  • Review project geotechnical and structural information and perform project evaluations to examine technical and commercial feasibility
  • Prepare proposals and work with estimators to provide project bids for RAP opportunities
  • Review, sign, and seal project design submittals and field reports and prepare project close-out submittals
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred
  • Registered professional engineer with active license, in good standing
  • Ability to quickly evaluate both technical and commercial viability of opportunities to provide value to project teams
  • Demonstrate ability to create and manage business opportunities resulting in successful engineering and sales strategies
Your Education
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering Required
  • MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
