*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

The Vice President, Sales - Foodservice & Specialty is responsible for developing and deploying strategies and tactics to drive new, profitable sales growth while sustaining existing sales within the Foodservice & Specialty channels. S/he will manage and cultivate new and existing strategic relationships at the senior-most levels, while establishing a high-performing, metrics-driven sales culture through planning, analytics, and the implementation of new cadences and processes.

This position will report to the SVP, Sales - Paper and work in close collaboration with counterparts in Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and HR. S/he will lead a team of Sales leaders and professionals across the US and Canada to support national and regional sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our executive and sales leadership teams to create Sales strategies that align to key strategic business objectives, focusing on revenue, profitability, and market share
  • Own the long-term strategy for Foodservice & Specialty sales, managing sales plans, budgets, forecasts, results, results, and reviewing performance for shifts and corrections
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to develop, implement, and iterate on strategies and tactics that result in exceeding annual growth targets, including margin improvement
  • Foster a high-performing, metrics-driven sales culture by developing and implementing an integrated sales cadence, forecasting process, and operating plan
  • Develop and cultivate key relationships within the assigned channels, focusing on top-to-top relationships with growth-oriented customers and distributors on incremental volume
  • Obtain voice of customer and understand product needs and market trends through customer visits, attending trade shows, and relays that information to key stakeholders
  • Communicate vertically and cross functionally to encourage debate and invite diverse perspectives to drive better business outcomes through collaboration and innovation

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years' sales experience in a related or relevant industry; food packaging preferred
  • 10+ years' experience leading other sales professionals and strategy development
  • Proven track record and ability to drive new, profitable sales growth
  • Strong cross-functional business acumen and understanding
  • Frequent domestic travel and the ability to travel internationally, as necessary
