*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

This position provides project management, project engineering and technical support to plants and project teams to improve performance related to safety, cost, quality, throughput, uptime and yield. This role is a member of the Corporate Manufacturing Services team.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and leads strategic technical projects and programs across multiple sites
    • Manages multiple, concurrent projects with independent critical milestone activities
    • Develops cost estimates, justifications, and schedules for capital projects
    • Develops equipment and installation specifications
    • Develops bid requests for equipment and services
    • Manages project spending budgets
    • Provides construction management services
  • Leads and participates on project and continuous improvement teams
  • Provides technical expertise to plant and corporate personnel
  • Evaluates the condition and performance of existing plant equipment and facilities
  • Develops designs for facility and production related systems
  • Incorporates personnel safety in all aspects of system designs
  • Functions as a change agent in the implementation of new technology and systems
  • Communicates verbally and in written form to internal and external resources

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical and manufacturing process skills/experience.
  • Must have experience supporting and leading Lean manufacturing activities.
  • Analytical skills and understanding of problem solving techniques/tools.
  • Data-driven, disciplined, objective and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to act as a business partner, "see the big picture," and work through ambiguity and change.
  • Advanced computer knowledge with MS Office applications (Excel, Access, etc) and other computer tools and software and a working knowledge of AutoCad.
  • Must be willing to travel 75% of each work week to the Company's manufacturing sites to support projects and initiatives.
