Your Role

The internship program starts June 10, 2024 and will continue for ten (10) weeks until August 9, 2024.

Are you majoring in accounting or a related field and looking for some real-world job experience? If yes, this internship is for you! The Atlas Copco Group will offer a 10-week paid summer internship to an undergraduate or graduate student.

You will work a hybrid schedule #LI-hybrid at our South Charlotte location (About 5 miles away from Carowinds). You will work within our Finance team on several projects,

• You will apply general accounting principles for recording, maintaining, and analyzing accounting and financial data

• You will assist and contribute to the Finance team's goals

• You will participate in project to identify, catalog, and reconcile financial fixed assets

• You will analyze, reconcile, and facilitate clearing of Interco AP/AR

• You will perform research and audits at the direction of senior staff for functional cost bookings to help identify cost savings opportunities

• You will participate in a variety of department activities including supporting Masterdata Team

• You will participate in training and mentoring sessions with Senior Accountant

• You will examine processes for possible improvements

• Other responsibilities assigned by Local Finance Team

To succeed, you will need

• Work as part of team with professionals at all levels

• Knowledge of accounting principles

• Basic understanding of accounting

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet

• General ledger and ERP experience, but not required

• Work under guidance of other accounting and finance professionals
