Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:
- Manage Data Control Governance
- Ensure process controls, data validation activities, and measurement processes remain timely and relevant
- Create and maintain required documentation and evidence
- Analysis of datasets and the ability to find patters and conclusions within the data
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree / or equivalent work experience
- Experience analyzing data, either in finance or another data control environment
- Ability to map out steps in a process or program, and determine a path for execution on those steps
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities skills needed to perform complex data analysis
- Must possess very strong communication skills with teammates and leadership
- Ability to create management-ready presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to addressing issues
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Power Point) including advanced excel functions such as pivot tables
