Sales Manager, Aftermarket

BUSINESS: CIRCOR

LOCATION: Monroe, NC

DIRECT REPORTING: Sr. Director of Customer Success, Aftermarket

FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: Sales

Position Summary

Manage and drive the aftermarket growth to achieve order/sales volume and profitability for all aftermarket products globally. Responsible for presenting Aftermarket retrofit and/or upgrade opportunities. Develop capture strategies from for-market OEM sales, identify and track the installed base to build a preventative maintenance program, and maximize the aftermarket entitlement. Support channel partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities to achieve revenue and margin targets.



Principal Activities

  • Maximize revenues from the sales of the organization's aftermarket products and/or services through channels and/or vertical markets.
  • Leverage technical expertise in assessing existing equipment and recommending upgrades, maintenance, repair and other services and products to support customer goals.
  • Develop strategy and pricing controls for quotations and service agreements.
  • Establish and drive specific sales plans to implement new products, services and programs.
  • Use CRM platform to manage the sales process and provide accurate bookings forecasts to management on aftermarket opportunities.
  • Provide other reports as necessary for driving profitable growth, such as profitability, OTD and ect.
  • Utilize technical knowledge, processes, computerized and non-computerized tools to assess the potential business opportunities of the company's products and resources to meet customer needs.
  • Identify the installed base and understand product life cycle and build proactive and preventative maintenance sales plan.
  • Embrace & implement 80/20 strategy for profitable growth with our key customers.

Job Requirements:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience handling sales of higher complexity.
  • Aftermarket or closely related experience strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated inclusive behavior with success in leading or working in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated clear thinking with effective communication at all levels.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a successful sales growth track record.
  • Strategic thinking and data analytic skills with a sales growth strategy

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Business Administration, engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
  • Prior AM Sales, Maintenance, Service experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of business process and functions outside of sales and marketing, including finance, human resources, information technology, product development and manufacturing.
