About Our Team

Home improvement projects can be complicated and confusing to manage, but it doesn't need to be. We are seeking a Fullstack Lead Software engineer with an innovative spirit to help customers and associates alike connect and manage their projects from inspiration to installation.

Please note the ideal candidate for this role will need to be located in a commutable distance from our new Technology Hub in Charlotte, NC or be open to relocation, as eligible

Job Summary

This role serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments. This Role is responsible for creating architecture diagrams, work with Directors and Enterprise Architecture team and get it reviewed and implement in team. This Role is supposed to lead as an Individual contributor providing technical guidance, building frameworks, complex algorithms/processes for multiple teams; should join stand ups/grooming sessions for multiple teams and provide technical guidance and solve blockers. This Role has to closely work with managers and provide guidance in deployment strategy, implementation and architecture and coding guidelines. This Role has to attend meetings representing the team and make the right and accurate architecture design and implementation plan for the team for large cross portfolio initiatives.

Ideal candidate will have:

* 12 years of experience in software development or a related field
* 6 years expertise in React.js,React Redux, Node.js, TypeScript (JSX,TSX), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES 6/7/8
* 6 years of experience in Java, Spring framework, spring boot
* 3 years of experience writing Reactive code in java
* 5 years of experience in database technologies including Mongo, PostgresSQL, Cassandra, Couchbase
* 10 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
* 3 years of working in Kubernetes managed Applications. Expecting knowledge of high performing-app deployments in Kubernetes clusters, knowledge of Cannary, Highlander deployments

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
* 6 years of experience in software development or a related field
* 6 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
* 12 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization
* 10 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software
* 10 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
* 10 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
* 4 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
* 12 years of experience working with source code control systems
* Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools
* 8 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, WA: $111,600.00 - $212,000.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
