Job Description

Sr. S&OE Supply Planning Manager

The Sr. S&OE Supply Planning Manager is the process owner for finalizing deployment plans for North American factories that provide high levels of service and optimal inventory availability. He or she drives active collaboration with S&OP Production Planning and Sales Operations to ensure priorities are fulfilled and key exceptions are resolved by the S&OE Supply Planning team. He or she defines a structured standard daily/weekly work cadence with high attention to detail to ensure plans are optimized over the near-term horizon.

The Sr. Supply Planning Manager is then responsible for monitoring the total inventory (Safety Stock + Cycle Stock) for North American Produced product, with accountability for:

Key Tactical Duties:

  • Drive a high-performing team culture through active coaching, feedback and engagement
  • Daily monitoring of network-wide Demand, Production, and resulting Inventory Mix (Stock at RDC/FDC) and Goods Availability
  • Lead weekly S&OE process and content creation, and execute decisions
  • Cooperate with S&OP Production Planning to plan adjustments according to demand changes
  • Evaluate and recommend scenarios to improve supply outlook
  • Lead team to proactively identify and take action to prevent supply constraints
  • Provide timely, clear feedback on product availability to Sales Leaders
  • Own process of defining and communicating near-term supply constraints for financial planning and order management visibility
  • Actively monitor execution of Phase In-Phase Out distribution plans with product transitions (Monitor demand)
  • Work closely with leaders of sales operations, commercial teams, and factories to implement and track adherence to sales allocation process
  • Lead continuous improvement projects as needed, and serve as a leader/mentor to Supply Planning team
  • Lead monthly KPI reviews with team, ensuring achievement of weekly/monthly scorecard targets
  • Support NA Supply Chain and Logistics projects to eliminate waste and drive cost optimization
  • Monitor confirmed production plan vs. actuals to proactively identify required plan adjustments

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or Higher
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning (Inventory Planning, Production Planning, Component Management)
  • Prior people leadership OR project leadership experience
  • 4+ years of experience with advanced mathematical and forecasting tools such as statistical forecasting and/or supply planning systems (SAS, SAP, JDA)
