Job Summary
Director of Enterprise Architecture is a strategic role to align IT architecture with business goals. Ideal candidates will blend deep enterprise architecture knowledge with agile methodologies, fostering collaboration across teams. Key responsibilities include defining architecture vision, roadmaps, modernizing software platforms, and application strategies including M&A integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture aligned with business strategy and agile principles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable strategies.
  • Evaluate and modernize existing IT systems, applications, and reduce technical debt.
  • Design scalable IT architectures supporting delivery teams and enterprise needs.
  • Provide architectural guidance and oversight to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in enterprise architecture practice.
  • Define and execute acquisitions of software and technical platforms.
  • Work with various teams to promote consistency and alignment across domains.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and IT Ops to ensure operational feasibility of solutions.
  • Advise senior leadership on IT strategy, investment decisions, and risk management


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in Enterprise Architecture within large organizations.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.


Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Remote with 25% travel

Key Competencies

  • Experience with key Platforms SAP and/or Oracle ERPs, including SAP S4 migrations, Salesforce and the enterprise applications ecosystem
  • Functional knowledge in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Chain, Finance.
  • 5+ years' experience in modern practices like Cloud apps, DevOps, AIOps, MLOps.
  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at all levels.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and manage vendors.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, security practices
