As a Supply Planner, you will partner across Demand Planning, Industrial Operations, Product Line, and Sales to balancedemand and supply based onservice, cost, and capacity realities. You willdevelopnet requirements for production, purchase, andtransportationquantities by location. Process responsibilities include supporting the setting of inventory targets, Rough Cut CapacityReview, Location-Level Planning, and SKU-Levelnetsupply requirements.You willleadcross-functional interactions and reviewhistorical data, customerand factory data, market trends andcapacityprojections to develop the most accurate and up-to-datesupplyplan.A continuous improvement focus will be utilized to ensure that the planning accuracy is at optimal levels while communicating to appropriate functionsasthe plans change.Youwill be exposed to leadership priorities and strategic initiatives that drive the continuous improvement across all functions of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop mid to long-term location-level supply and purchase plans supporting sales plans and network safety stock requirements
  • Execute against selected Supply Plan scenarios that balance constraints across factory capacity, service, and budget
  • Lead weekly cross-functional supply meetings and align to supply plan
  • Work with suppliers to review capacity and make suggested changes to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Monitor demand to plan and make necessary Supply Plan changes to support in near term
  • Monitor actual performance against weekly shipments, deployments, and forecast consumption to drive ongoing performance improvements in costs, time, capacity, and asset utilization
  • Works cross-functionally to drive inventory and sales decisions on key product lines
  • Develop weekly deployments from Hubs to RDCs
  • Support root cause analysis for key service issues, as well as share output with appropriate leadership
  • Support Monthly ES&OP and Month End inventory budget processes
  • Manage phase in and phase out of key transitions with cross-functional operations team
  • Inventory Reporting:
    • Provide and manage rolling 18-month inventory forecasts by assigned Product Family/Manufacturing Location
    • Manage process to eliminate Non-Optimized/Excess Inventory for assigned Product Family/Manufacturing Location
    • Responsible for inventory dollars and units
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, along with tool and process enhancements within the Supply Planning team and cross-functionally

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree required; preferred major area of study in Economics, Supply Chain, or relevant business area
  • Preferred 2+ years of relevant experience in planning, forecasting process, basic operations, inventory planning, and statistical analysis
