Min T/E Requirements
Applicants must have a Ph.D in Political Science or Public Administration or a Master's Degree in Public Administration or a related field that includes a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in public administration, political science, or a closely related field, including coursework in quantitative methods. All degrees must come from accredited institutions.

Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in teaching methods courses online. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an ability to successfully structure and implement a distance-education based course.

Instruction of Political Science and Public Administration
Job Description
The Department of Political Science and Public Administration has need for part-time or adjunct faculty to teach courses in the following subject areas: graduate and undergraduate level methodology, including quantitative methods.

We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.

These positions are especially suited for potential faculty who possess terminal degrees in Public Administration or have a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate coursework in relevant fields of Political Science or Public Administration.

Excellence in teaching and learning conducted within a rigorous and stimulating environment is an important core value of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The Political Science and Public Administration Department has a strong commitment to teaching and part-time faculty are expected to exhibit and maintain campus and department standards.

Management Preference
Prior experience teaching in higher education.

Ability to teach quantitative methods online at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
