Take ownership of development and support of multiple internally developed applications including .NET based stand-alone programs and customer facing websites. Responsible for the end user support, maintenance, and enhancements of applications supported resulting from change requests. Responsible for ensuring any changes are in accordance with recommended good coding practices including ease of maintenance, error logging, application performance, and securing of sensitive information through relevant encryption and other safeguards. Development lead for projects that impact applications supported including requirements gathering, documentation, design, development, unit testing, UAT, and rollout. Responsible for regular review of knowledge documentation and disaster recovery plans for applications supported. Responsible for periodic access and entitlement reviews for applications supported. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.
The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $151,986 - $163,100 per year. The position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Banking, Finance, or a related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Technology Lead, Associate, or a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Banking, Finance, or a related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Technology Lead, Associate, or a related occupation
Position requires strong understanding of the latest .NET framework including C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET. Requires extensive experience in developing front-end and middle-tier applications. Requires clear understanding of technologies including MVC, REST Web API, Javascript, HTML5, and Entity Framework. Requires strong SQL skills and experience with SQL, SSIS, and SSRS. Requires experience with version control tools like TFS and GitHub. Requires hands-on experience with HTTPS, SOAP, Restful, XML, and JSON. Requires experience working in the Banking and Finance domain with a solid understanding of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) data safeguards and encryption techniques. Requires strong knowledge of SDLC and the ability to create PowerPoint presentations and Visio diagrams. Requires the ability to provide estimations, risk assessments, draft business requirements, system diagrams, and technical design documents. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.
