Position Purpose: The ideal candidate will exude professionalism and be responsible for handling monetary transactions within the banking center. They will ensure that warm, caring and friendly service is provided to all customers. Tellers are knowledgeable about the products and services provided by RBC Bank and proactively identify opportunities to refer customers to their colleagues. Tellers act in a pivotal role within the banking center, ultimately ensuring an optimal customer experience.
Key Accountabilities: Tellers fulfill client needs around personal, business, and commercial deposit account transactions. Tellers are responsible for ensuring reporting requirements, record retention, and banking center security procedures are met. They keep proper cash supply on hand and prepare daily proof record while maintaining an acceptable outage level. They may process night deposits and ATM transactions.
Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): - Strong attention to detail - Basic computer knowledge - Dynamic personality and ability to get along w/others - Ability to train for 2 weeks- 1 local, 1 out-of-town
Preferred Skills: - Previous cash handling skills - Previous banking experience - Prior experience in retail sales
