Job Description

We are seeking a Plant Engineer to work atour facility to oversee operations and TPM activities. You will take a lead role in TPM by leading EEM Pilar and advising PM pillar leader as well as working with other pillars and AM teams,participate in TPM activities at the Steering Committee level with clear understanding of all KPI targets.

As Plant Engineeryou will be responsible to:

  • Monitor progress of Maintenance department and update on projects
  • Develop and coordinate plans for the installation of new equipment or modification of existing equipment
  • Develop and manage the PM program. Review reports in eMaint & ensure work is being logged as required
  • Confer with Management, Engineering and QC to resolve problems and recommend measures to improve operations
  • Prepare department yearly budget and monitor expenditures
  • Conduct training on new repair methods and procedures
  • Evaluate production machinery
  • Control spare parts inventory and the associated pricing of this inventory
  • Take a lead role in TPM at the branch with a clear understanding of KPI targets
  • Manage outside contractors

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to have:

  • B.S in Engineering;
  • 4 years of related industry experience;
  • Mechanical and Electrical abilities;
  • Excellent math skills, as well as oral, written, reading and reading comprehension skillsin order to write reports,business correspondence, and procedure manuals;
  • Previous manufacturing experience;
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills with proficiency on Microsoft Suite (MS Office), AutoCAD, SAP and Prism.

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Background in the chemical processing industry and its related process equipment helpful.
  • Willingness to travel (minimal travel)
